The Beaufort Building is a new marine and energy research building built on a brownfield site in Ringaskiddy for UCC.

The building accommodates 150 marine, maritime and sustainable energy researchers in a state of the art facility which houses four wave tanks and a suite of research laboratories.

The Beaufort Building has won an American Architecture Prize for the Year 2017, in the Educational Buildings category, along with joint winner of the 2017 RIAI Best Education Building.
