A new research facility for the national university, comprising four cancer labs, one ‘Chem Bio’ laboratory, a Bio Resources Unit, conference facility, restaurant, PI offices and meeting facilities.

The building won 2016 American Institute of Architects (AIA) COTE Top Ten Sustainable Projects of the Year & Irish Building & Design Awards 2017 School Building Project of the year – Winner.

The main elevation façade incorporates an innovative approach to solar shading in the use of Oakwood glazing with integral timber blinds inside the cavity of the double glazed unit.

Other systems supplied consist of various Reynaers Window, door, curtain wall & roof light systems & revolving doors.
