Campbeltown Picture house was one of the first purpose-built cinemas in Britain, & is one of the most historic in Europe.

This Grade-A listed building is unique, with a Glasgow school art nouveau exterior and an equally impressive and unusual interior.

The Centenary Project was completed in December 2017 restoring this magnificent building and creating a modern cinema complete with a new foyer and café, and spaces for exhibitions, displays, education and community activities. The project has also just been awarded the 2018 Scottish Heritage Angel Award in the over £2m category for the best rescue of an Historic Building or Place.

Lynco provided the bespoke slim line curved double glazed Aluminium glazing system to replicate the original Art Nouveau style screen to the main front façade. Also provided were folding & stacking screens to the front of the new café area, & all new Aluminium Entrance doors / screens.
